One of the most interesting and possibly unique entertainments to appear in this area in some seasons is now slated for the Culpeper High School Auditorium presented by the Culpeper Community Concert Association on Saturday, November 13, at 8 p.m. Stars of Jaiz is a spectacular musical combination of seven of today’s jazz artists, therefore, it is aptly named. The featured celebrities are guitarist Eld die Condon, trumper Wild Bill Davison, clarinetist Barney Bigard and pianist Art Hodes. Completing the roster are bassist Robert “Rail” Wilson, trombonist Jim Beebe and drummer Hillard Brown. The eight-week national fall 1971 tour follows immediately after the combo’s premiere concert in Alice Tully Hall, the Juillard School of Music, Lincoln Center, New York.
