The Rappahannock County Lions Club announces that three (3) pound fruit cakes and brooms are available from each club member and some local businesses.
Purchasing fruit cakes and brooms through the Lions Club is a means of supporting Lions’ community service projects and, especially sight conservation.
Though rainy weather on weekends hampered sales of the Lions Club Apple project, a fair margin of profit was realized due mainly to contributions. The club expresses appreciation to Mrs. Alice R. Wood, E. M. Jones, Jonas R. Jenkins, Thomas E. Lee, James Lee and Herbert Foster who donated to the project.
