Friday, Mrs. Mary Mathena, Mrs. Marie Williams, and Mrs. LaMerle Williams visited the Baptist Mission Center at Manassas. They delivered to the Center the gifts received at the local church in the drive “Chrismas in August” sponsored by the WMS. These gifts will be distributed to the underprivileged people in that area, who are contacted by the Center on the average of 250 per week. While in Manassas the three ladies called in the Sunny Williams’ home.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock and Mr. and Mrs. “Butch” Sealock were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Page Henson, Jrv of Riverton. Mrs. Burnie Burnette and son David, of Annandale, arrived Monday to spend several days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams and other relatives.
