The F.H.A. Club of Rappahannock County High School sponsored a Hallowe’en Sock Hop at the school Friday evening and a costume contest was featured. Prize winners included Franklin Hitt, left, dressed as a “pink giant,” chosen as the ugliest; Cheryl Poling was selected as having the prettiest costume and behind her, Linda Jenkins, as most comical. Dressed as a woman is William Weaver and as a man, Beverly Stringfellow while Janet Dodson is a witch and Pearl Spicer a pretty blonde. Mrs. Michael Witten is the Home Ec sponsor.
