The W.M.U. of the Reynolds Baptist Church held its January meeting Saturday followed by luncheon at the Holly House. After this they visited residents of the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper. Those in attendence were Mrs. J.B. Perkins, Mrs. W.H. Lyne, Mrs. Clarice Clark, Mrs. Ronald Wiley, Mrs. B.M. Miller, Mrs. Kathyrn Wayland, Mrs. James F. Smith, Mrs. Maury Brown and Mrs. B.M. Varner. Mr. and Mrs. James F. Smith also served refreshments at their cottage at the Home.
David Cordle, a student at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, arrived Tuesday to spend the mid-semester break with his mother, Mrs. W.H. Cordle and brother Louis. 'Mr. and Mrs. Strother Brown and children, John and Isabelle of Jackson Heights, N.Y. left Monday after a week s visit with Mrs. Catherine Brown. They were dinner guests Thursday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Benny Brown and family in Winchester. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser of Alexandria, Dr. Larry Kushner of Silver Springs, Md. and Miss Shirley Brown ofBethesda, Md. were weekend guests. Joining them Sunday for dinner were Mrs. James Burnopp and children, Jay and Joy of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Benny Brown and daughter, Beverly of Winchester, Clyde Atkins and Julian Brown.
