the home of Mrs. Doris Williams, with the president, Mrs. Frances Rudicile, presiding. Others present were: Evelyn Burke, Judy Williams, Mary Mathena, Marie Williams and Margaret Cain. Judy Williams was appointed as chairman of the flower committee for the coming year. The week of February 13 through 19 was designated Focus week for the Baptist Mission Society, and a special Valentine getto-gether was planned for February 16 at the home of Mrs. Mary Mathena.
The theme of the program for the evening was . “Hope” with Frances Rudicille the leader. Mrs. Mathena spoke on the experiences of foreign missionaries.
Mr. and Mrs. James Shipe Jr. and children, Jim, Dennis and Rita visited Mr. and Mrs. Timmy Williams and family Sunday evening.
Mrs. Lucille West of Rt. 522 entered Warren Memorial Hospital Wednesday and will undergo surgery Thursday.
