C.M. Burke
Charlie Moore Burke of Culpeper died January 15 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was 77, a retired painter and the son of the late George B. and Elizabeth Woodward Burke of Rappahannock County.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Ryder Burke of Culpeper; a daughter Mrs. Raymond Coughlin of Culpeper and a son, Yager Burke of Clinton, Md. Seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.
A funeral service was held Tuesday at the Culpeper Free Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Earl West. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
