The following is quoted from the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance: "BUILDING PERMITS" - No building or structure which costs five hundred dollars ($500.00) or more shall be located, constructed, reconstructed, altered, or enlarged without first having obtained a Building Permit from the administrator."
