Amissville Ruritan Club will serve a pit-cooked barbecue to the public Saturday afternoon July 15 from 5 to 9 p.m. Preparation is being made and supplies purchased. The pit in which the beef is cooked overnight must be dug. Aubrey Curtis and F.L. Bowey began working on the pit Wednesday. The tender beef with barbecue sauce will be served with accompanying dishes.
