TRAVELING THIS SUMMER and fall take time i to give some thought to your suitcase. Limit the number of suitcases you allow yourself. If you need a new piece of luggage, consider investing in some lightweight canvas luggage. It’s usually inexpensive and offers a double bonus. You will find it easier to carry; and if you are one of those lucky ones who will be flying to your vacation spot, you won’t have to worry about those overweight charges as much. After you’ve chosen your bag, limit what goes into it.

Plan your activities. If you have some idea of what you’ll be doing during your vacation, you will know what to pack. Pack for double wear value. Pack clothes that will serve a double purpose. A knit culotte dress does well for both sight
