Achievement Night

THE RAPPAHANNOCK County Homemakers Clubs extend an invitation to the public to attend the annual achievement night to be held Monday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m. The program will be held in the Sperryville fire hall with the ladies of the Woodville club as hostesses.

This is the time of the year when each club will have an exhibit showing accomplishments of the group for the past year. One of the main features is the silent auction table, the proceeds of which go toward a scholarship fund to be used by a local high school student.

The “Club of the Year” award will be given and reading certificates will be presented those who have completed five books in various categories.

The program will also include information on parks by a representative of the U.S. Park Service.
