Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines and son were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Riddick, R. A. Baines Sr. and Mrs. Evelyn Babb, all of Suffolk. Mrs. Baines, Mrs. Riddick and Mrs. Babb accompanied Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin to Luray Saturday evening where Mrs. Baines and Mr. Buntin were judges in a beauty pageant.
Mrs. Downing Wood was honored with a birthday dinner Sunday evening given by Joe D. Keyser at the Hy-Wy Restaurant in Front Royal. Other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Paul 0 Miller of Flint Hill, Miss Mary Miller Wood, Mrs. Nancy McCoy and family and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Conover.
