THE Rappahannock Jaycee basketball team has made a clean sweep this season with eight wins and no losses. The final game of this region was held Saturday night with the local eagers defeating Culpeper Jaycees 119-73.
Rappahannock Jaycees expressed appreciation to all people who have supported their series.
Total proceeds from the games, $873, will be put in a special athletic fund where it will draw interest until more funds can be raised or other sources tapped to aid in the construction of the outdoor combination basketball and tennis court at the high school.
