Interested parties have indicated that they wish to be heard with respect to these applications. Local hearings upon the applications have been scheduled for March 28, 1973 in the Circuit Courtroom, Fauquier County, Warrenton, Virginia with two separate sessions on this date to begin at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. A second day of hearing has been scheduled for March 29, 1973 in the Circuit Courtroom, Rappahannock County, Washington, Virginia with two sessions on this day at 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Any interested party desiring to appear at the hearing in Fauquier County may be scheduled for appearance by calling the office of Richard H. Beach, Administrative Assistant of Fauquier County (Tel. 703-347-1730) and any interested party desiring to appear at the hearing in Rappahannock County may be scheduled for appearance by calling the office of E.M. Jones, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County (Tel. 703-675-3621). Parties scheduled for appearance at these hearing are encouraged to summarize their comments in writing which can be submitted to the Commission, in the event that hearings are adjourned before they are called.
At the conclusion of the March 29, 1973 hearing the proceeding will be continued and hearing will resume again on April 30, 1973 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission’s Courtroom, 13th Floor, Blanton Building, Richmond, Virginia. Persons desiring to appear before the Commission in Richmond shall send written notice to the Commission by March 26, 1973, and send a copy of such notice to counsel to the applicant, Evans B. Brasfield, Esquire, Attorney at Law, 700 E. Main Street, P.O. Box 1535, Richmond, Virginia 23212. The applicants have been directed to file written testimony and exhibits in support of their applications with the Commission on or before February 26, 1973. Anyone appearing before the Commission and wishing a copy of the Company’s prepared testimony and exhibits should so request in the notice and it will be supplied by the applicants. Intervenors retaining consultants and experts for the purpose of investigating the facilities and proposed location of such facilities should file with the Commission on or before April 9, 1973 ten (10) copies of the direct testimony and exhibits of such consultants or experts and send a copy thereof to counsel to the applicant and to such other intervenors who may so request. Parties intervening will be notified by the Commission of all other intervenors.
