Competitive riding is not to be confused with Endurance Riding. In a competitive ride there is a minimum and maximum finishing time and a rider coming in too early is penalized one point for each minute.

Mrs. Frances J. Tobin, 415 Warren Avenue, Front Royal, has been promoted to a district manager for Field Enterprises Educational Corporation, publisher of The World Book Encyclopedia, Childcraft“The How and Why Library,” and other reference works.
Mrs. Tobin joined the company in January of 1969, and since then, she has been promoted twice. Her selling territory covers Warren, Rappahannock,and Shenandoah Counties in Virginia. □
