CANDIDATES for Honorary Fire Chief of Sperry - ville Volunteer Fire Company are being sought for competition in conjunction with this year’s carnival which is set for July 25 through 28. s i
The young ladies must be from ages 12 to 20 and must be single to be eligible. A $50 cash prize will be awarded the winner at the conclusion of the contest on Friday, July 27. The winner will also act as Honorary Fire Chief for a year, representing the Sperryville Fire Company at parades and other public functions.
