% CAPITAL NOTES Price 100% (Plus accrued interest from May 14, 1973 to date of delivery) The F & M National Corporation, a Virginia corporation, will offer to bona fide residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia Capital Notes in multiples of $500.00, payable on May 14th, 1983, together with interest at the rate of 7 per cent per annum, payable quarter annually" on May 14th, August 14th, November 14th and February 14th in each year. The Capital Notes may be redeemed at the option of the corporation as a whole or from time to time in part, prior to maturity at 100 per cent of the principal a mount.
