Funeral services for Henry Layton Kennedy, 81, of Leesburg were conducted Friday at the Geest Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Harold Easton officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Kennedy died May 23, 1973 in a Leesburg hospital following a long illness. He was a retired farm manager in the Leesburg area. *
He was formerly a resident of the Peola Mills section of Madison County, son of the late Littleton and Mollie Catherine Kennedy. . He is survived by three brothers, Dewey and James Kennedy of Culpeper and Waver Kennedy of Boston, Va; two sisters, Mrs. Bennie Jenkins of Brandy Station and Mrs. Andrew Sisk of Sperryville.
