formal gown of satin Peau do Sole trimmed with Venice lace and satin ribbon. The squared neckline was framed by lace and ribbon, as were the cuffs of the full Bishop sleeves. The high waistline was fashioned with a wide satin cumerbund which tied in ♦back into a full bow with streamers.
The cathedral train flowed from the body of the skirt and was edged in Venice lace and satin ribbon. She wore a matching Julie| caP °* Venice lace, satin ribbon and seed pearls from which tiered illusion fell into a full length veil. The bride’s colonial bouquet was of white and yellow roses, baby’s breath and ivy.
Her jewelry included an heirloom pearl brooch loaned by her maternal grandmother, which had been worn by three generations of brides, and a diamond and star sapphire Naval Academy miniature, a gift from the bridegroom.
