THE MENTAL Health Association of Rappahannock County wishes to inform the people of the county that it is very much alive. But it is very much in need of funds.
The Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock county has allocated $1,500 for mental health services but this will not cover the needs of the county. The Mental Health Association is left with the responsibility of raising the money to pay for the remaining necessary services.
The actual share for Rappahannock county in the Chapter 10 Program of Planning District 9 is $4,120. Chapter 10 is the legislation passed by the Virginia General Assembly in 1968 ahd known as the Community Mental Health and Mental Retardation Serv
