Miss Jean Lillard of Alexandria spent the weekend with her mother Mrs. Carson Lillard and with other members of the family visited Mr. Lillard at Winchester Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster attended a dinner Sunday honoring Mr. Foster’s birthday and Father’s Day at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Corbin at Hartwood. They were accompanied by their grandson Chris Foster and Mrs. Foster’s sister Mrs. Bennie Spinks. Others attending were Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster, Mrs. Ertha Corbin, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Nalls and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Butler of Warrenton and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Corbin, Sr. of Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Miller and two children of Memphis, Tenn. were guests from Tuesday until Thursday last week of Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Clark. Weekend guests were the Rev. and Mrs. James D. Craig and four daughters of Nashville, Tenn. and Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Clark Jr. of Bridgewater. Mr. and Mrs. T. Granville Eastham attended a three day meeting last week of Virginia Banker’s Assoc. held at The Homestead in Hot Springs.
