Court Friday on charges of grand larceny and statutory burglary. The charges resulted in the midApril looting of the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Clayton on Red Oak Mountain when many of the furnishings were taken.
Warrants for Spears were secured by Deputy Estes after an investigation by Trooper J.B. Willis of Culpeper turned up suspicious items. Willis, working with Trooper R.A. Baines of Rappahannock and in turn, with Deputy Estes, concluded the investigation with netted the stolen property.
A trail is scheduled for November 16 in Rappahannock. □
