Three people were injured in a two-car collision Saturday night on Route 211 east of Amissville about 11:15 p.m. One vehicle swerved into the left lane and struck the approaching one in the side, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin, who said charges are pending.
Involved were Charles Robert Funkhouser of Midland operating a 1971 Ford and Archie Samuel Kidwell of Middletown in a 72 Mercury. According to the investigating officer, Funkhouser crossed into the left lane and struck Kidwell. Both vehicles were totaled.
Injured were Funkhouser who was admitted to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, with a deep laceration of the forehead, a chest injury, possible fractured
