H.A. Harper

Harlon Ashbee Harper of Washington, Va., formerly of Front Royal, died in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Washington, D.C. September 21, 1973. He was 56.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in the Rivermont Baptist Church at Front Royal by the Rev. Jerry Young. Burial was in Shenandoah Memorial Park Cemetery near Winchester.

Mr. Harper was born at Glady, W. Va., a son of James Lee and Neva Dove Harper. He was employed by the Virginia Telephone and Telegraph Co. in Front Royal.

Surviving with his wife, Mrs.? Mary E. Harper are five daughters, Mrs. Shirley Morris of Cumberland Md., Mrs. Dorothy Crawford and Mrs. Norman Crawford, both of Front Royal, Miss Ella Mae Harper, a student at Lynchburg Baptist College, and Mrs. Nola Marie Andrews
