Rappahannock High girls basketball team has gone into action with scrimmage Monday and Saturday. They bowed to Luray in the first game but recovered and gained a 37-29 victory over Strasburg Saturday.
This game proved an aggressive endeavor by the local lassies who were charged with ten fouls, but drew 20 fouls from their opponents the Strasburg Ramettes. Sharon Foster was high scorer for the Lady Panthers with four baskets and seven foul shots, totaling 15 points. Cheryl Poling, co-captain, was second high with 8 points.
