The Rappahannock Cross Country Team is still going strong as it defeated Randolph Macon Saturday. The Panthers had a perfect scor of 15 to the Yellow Jacket’s 50.

Tuesday they met with Central and William Monroe. Rappahannock came in with a score of 16; Central had 51; and William Monro 73.

One runner who is improving tremendously is Ronnie Nicholson. Two JV runners that will probably move up to Varsity are Earl Lily and Clifton Jenkins. These guys deserve a lot of credit for the efforts they put forth at the meets.

There will be a Cross Country meet this Thursday afternoon at Stonewall Jackson at 4:30 p.m. The next meet is scheduled with Montevideo on Tuesday, October 16. It will be at 4 p.m. and it’s away.

Patron ads will be on sale beginning October 10. The annual staff will be selling them for $1. There will be class competition and the class selling the
