Amissville Fire Company is building a new fire house and social hall since the Virginia Department of Highways has purchased the old one, which stands in the path of progress, namely the dual land highway which will be constructed. A large crane hoisted the huge steel girders in place and workmen anchor them down as the fire house takes shape.
