Underwood
Stanley Beckman Underwood, 79, of Flint Hill died at his home October 8, 1973. He was a native of Rappahannock, a son of the late Henry Underwood and Hattie Churchill Underwood. His wife, Sarah Jackson Underwood, predeceased him.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Mabel P. Brook of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Miss Stella Underwood of Flint Hill; three grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren and two great - great - grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 o’clock at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill with the Rev. James Price in charge. Interment will be in the Flint Hill Cemetery. □
