Above on the first floor the main entrance opens directly onto the street. A wide hall leads through to a back door that opens onto a large verandah overlooking the lawns and outbuildings. On either side of the hall are two parlors.
Among the furnishings are collections from the late Mr. Cleverley’s travels as director of the Insular and Foreign Operations of the American National Red Cross. This includes a Russian samavor and a woven rush rug that was a gift of the Samoan Red Cross, lots of old china pieces and carvings, needle work and paintings. Also here is an old sea chest and other pieces of furniture that are old, but not so rare.D
