Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Riley after spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. Everette Rowzie in Alexandria.
Misses Lee and Kaye Lawrence, students at the Medical College of Virginia and Bluefield College, respectively, spent the weekend with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence. Their house guests were Louis Harlow of Richmond and Brian Rudolph of Christiansburg.
Billy Payne, accompanied by David Allen Thornhill of Boston, spent the weekend in Blacksburg with C.G. Thornhill.
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Settle and family attended the State Fair held recently in Richmond and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Burke near Richmond. Mr. Burke will soon be separated from the U.S. Army and with his family will reside at Rixeyville. Edwin Green of Salem was a visitor last week of his aunt Miss Phoebe Green.
