A resident of Kew Gardens, N.Y., at the time of his appointment, he graduated from Richmond Hill High School of Richmond Hill, N.Y., in 1964. He is married to the former Dianne Le Tourneur of Richmond Hill and they have a daughter, Dawn Elaine, age 6-1/2, and a son, Jonathan, Jr., age 4-1/2.
