OBITUARIES
R. R. Burke Sr.
A funeral service was held Wednesday at Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal for Raymond Randolph Burke, Sr., 68, of Front Royal conducted by the Rev. Jerry Young. Interment was in the Burke family cemetery, Rappahannock County^
Mr. Burke died May 5, 1974 in Warren Memorial Hospital. He was born at Washington, Va., the son of the late Charles Lewis Burke and Bessie Jenkins Burke. He was a member of the Oakland Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Mamie Shenk Burke; two sons, Raymond R. Burke, Jr. and Vincent R. Burke, both of Front Royal; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Wade of Rootstown, Ohio and Mrs. Anna Muriel Meadows of Fredericksburg; five brothers, Isaac Burke of Berryville, Judd Burke of Flint Hill, Charles C. Burke and Winston Burke of Washington, Va. and Asa Burke of Cheyenne, Wyo., two sisters, Mrs. Elizaheth Shenk of Rileyville and Mrs. Ora Christaldi of Smallwood, N. J.; 18 grandchildren and 13 , great-grandchildren. □
