THE WEDDING of Miss Bonnie Eileen Pennington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray M. Pennington Jr. of Warrenton, to Thomas Virgil Williams Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas V. Williams of Flint Hill, took place at 2 p.m. on April 20 at the Warrenton Baptist Church.
The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Leander T. Saunders before a setting of spring flowers. Mrs. H. B. Jones of Warrenton played the traditional wedding music which included a wedding prelude written by the bride. Miss Brenda Heflin of Bealeton, the soloist, sang “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” “The Wedding Song,” and “The Lords’ Prayer.”
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal length gown of white voile over satin styled with a high neckline, long full sleeves, and attached tubular train. She
