According to reported EPA findings, the 1975 Vega achieved 29 miles per gallon in the dynamometer highway driving test, and 22 miles per gallon in the city driving test, when equipped with the available 140-2 four-cylinder engine. It’s included when you order the Vega GT equipment and available at extra cost on all Vega models. But much of the credit for the ’75 Vega’s money-saving mileage goes to the High Energy Ignition and catalytic converter that are standard on all Vegas!
