Miss Fletcher
Miss Mary McGregor Fletcher of Washington, Va. died December 27, 1974 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. She was 59, a native of Rappahannock and the daughter of the late Marshall and Amanda Roberts Fletcher. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Washington.
A funeral service, conducted by the Rev. R.P. Pringle, was held at the church and interment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Washington.
Survivors include two brothers, Wade H. Fletcher and Ernest Fletcher of Washington; five sisters, Mrs. Edith F. Jordan of Washington, Va., Mrs. Larrice L. Fletcher of Rankins, Pa., Miss Larrine E. Fletcher, Mrs. Dorothy McCray and Mrs. Amanda Minor, all of Washington, D.C.D
Edward Atkins
A funeral service was held December 31 at • Geest Funeral Chapel, Culpeper, for Edward Athey Atkins of Culpeper who died December 29, 1974. He was 53, a native of Rappahannock County, the son of Berl Athey Atkins and the late Alice Marble Baker Atkins. He was a mechanic, employed with Culpeper Motor Corporation. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. James W. Adkins conducted the service.
Survivors, in addition to his father, are his wife, the former Cedelmer Jones; three daughters, Mrs. Peggy Lee Carver of Culpeper, Mrs. Dorothy Wilson of Fairfax and Miss Betty Jean Atkins of Culpeper; and six grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Alther, Mrs. Mable Ralls and Miss Janie Atkins, all of Sperryville.Q
