A spokesman for the State Corporation Commission has said that a decision on the controversial Vepco powerline route through Rappahannock and Fauquier Counties would not be made for another six weeks. The contested matter is “still hanging,” he said, because Vepco has cut back on new construction, and is not “pushing for anything speedy. ”□
