The marriage of Mrs. Frankie Harris Miller of Warrenton to David Cottrell Lyne of Washington, Va. took place Saturday, June 14, in the Chapel of St. James Episcopal Church, Warrenton. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Barney Harris and the late Mr. Harris of Warrenton. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. William H. Lyne of Washington, Va.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Jennings Hobson of Washington, assisted by the Rev. Ronald Wiley of Sperryville. The bride was attended by her daughter, Heather Miller, and her sister, Pat Harris. Mr. Lyne served as besf man for his son. Ushers were Preston Fray of Culpeper and Lawrence Warren of Warrenton. A reception was held at the Chestnut Forks Tennis Club.

Mrs. Lyne is a graduate ofVardell Hall in North Carolina. Mr. Lyne is a graduate of Woodberry Forest Academy and the University of Virginia. He will receive his master’s degree in Intercultural Folk Studies from Western Kentucky University.
