NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

The Planning Commission of Rappahannock County will hold a public hearing in the Courthouse Building in Washington, Va. at 7:30 P.M., July 16, 1975 to consider adoption of a proposed County Erosion and Sediment Control Program and Ordinance. Said Program and Ordinance is for alleviating harmful and/or damaging effects of on - site erosion and siltation of neighboring down stream properties during and after development. Copies are available in the Clerks Office for review prior to the hearing. Title 21, Chapter 1, Article 61, Sec. 21-89.1 et seq of the Code of Virginia authorizes localities to adopt an erosion and sedimentation control program prior to July 1, 1975. The public is invited to participate in this hearing.
