FRIDAY night’s freezing rain and sleet made roads in the county almost impassable, delaying workers coming home from the metropolitan area and hindering the beginning weekend traffic, all of which was reduced to a crawl.
A steady stream of reports of collisions, crashes and motorists in ditches was relayed to State Police and the local Sheriff's office. Trooper R. A.
