Icy roads were the cause of a collision Tuesday night on Route 621 at Peyton Farms. Gilbert Burke in a 71 Ford was struck by Joyce Andrews in a 76 Honda station wagon. Both are of Washington. There were no injuries or charges.

Sheriff’s Deputy R. D. Hawkins, who assisted motorists and investigated wrecks, reported that two and three-vehicles were involved in many, as well as numerous single cars sliding and skidding into ditches.
