The Varsity Panters were out muscled in the game between the Montevideo Maroons. The Panthers were downed 86-58. Leading our team in scoring were: Aubrey Frye, Donnell Carter, and Brooke Miller. They chipped in with 17,12, and 10 points respectively.
The J.V. Rapps came out in the prelim and trounced the visiting Maroons by the score of 52-33. Led by Mike Carter’s 17 points and Rodney Cook’s 16 points, the team easily took complete control of the game. Coach Greene told his team that this victory was his Christmas present from the squad.
Stonewall held off a second half rally by the V. Panthers to take a victory. The scoreboard showed a final score of 77-62. Donnell Garter took high scoring honors with 22 points.
The Stonewall J.V. put on a last quarter rally that pushed them over the J.V. Panthers 44-34. Mike Carter and Steve Foster scoring 11 and 9 points in that order, led the squad in scoring. Next game will be at the local gym. The Central Falcons will be the visiting team.
