FARMERS falling within the sample survey will be asked questions concerning outlays in 1976 for equipment and services and other production items. Some farmers will also be asked about their marketing patterns for corn, soybeans, wheat, and grain sorghum.
Others will be asked about usage of pesticides on crops and for livestock. Schooley urged Virginia farmers contacted for this sample survey by enumerators working for the Virginia Crop Reporting Service to provide the information needed for an accurate update of estimates of farm production expenses. Information given for the survey will be confidential and only State and national summaries will be released. □
