Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rachel Louise Kilby of Culpeper; three sons, James Franklin Menefee of Rixeyville, David Allen Menefee and Jeffrey Wayne Menefee, both of Culpeper; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Wease, Mrs. Gloria Stringfellow and Miss Patricia Ann Menefee, all of Culpeper; seven grandchildren.
In addition, he is survived by a brother, Daniel Lee Menefee of Culpeper and a sister, Mrs. Wilson Atkins of Woodville.
A funeral service will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at Geest Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Pallbearers will be Fred Settle, J.B. Wood, Jr., Charlie Grigsby, Emory Conners, Virgil Atkins, Walter Elam Jr., Jerry Owen Cubbage and Tyson Jolliffe.D
Williams
Wister Thomas Williams, age 86, of Amissville, died February 1, 1977, at Shawnee Springs Nursing Home, Winchester. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 1 p.m. from Royston Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be at Crest Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Williams is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Carter of Amissville, Mrs. Mathie Anderson of Washington, D. C.; a son, Sterling Williams of Amissville; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. □
GROVES IN OKINAWA
Marine Corporal Raymond C. Groves Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond C. Groves of Route 613, Box 173A, Amissville, has reported for duty with the 3d Marine Division on Okinawa. He joined the Marine Corps in June 1975.
