The services of a psychologist, Carole M. Hertz of Flint Hill,’ are being made possible in Rappahannock through the Rappahannock Clinic which will make referrals to her. She will offer marital and family counseling, evaluations of children and adolescents, assertive training and resocialization counseling.
Mrs. Hertz has a private practice in Falls Church and holds a parttime position as psychologist with the Fauquier County School Board where she also acts as consultant to the Welfare Department. She is certified by the State of Virginia.
Mrs. Hertz attended the University of California in Berkeley and American University, Washington, D. C. where she also did graduate work receiving a M. ED. degree in counseling psychology. She is a member of the American Psychological Association; American Association of Marriage and Family Counselors Association and American Personnel and Guidance Association.
