Singers invited

The Rappahannock Chorus meets every Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Gloria Harris, Horseshoe Hollow Farm on FodderstackRoad near Washington at 7:30 p.m. Anyone who sings is welcome to attend the meetings of the group.

Plans are being made for a spring concert by the Chorus on May 6 in the old school building at Washington. Details will be announced later. For information about joining the Rappahannock Chorus, contact Ellen Manson at Washington. □

BRIDGE PARTY

Mrs. C.E. Johnson, Jr. was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club at her home Friday evening. Guests were Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. R.E. Wood, Mrs. Frank Tabler, Mrs. R.E. Thompsen, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. E.N. Montague, Mrs. W.H. Cordle, Mrs. T.J. Pillar, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. H. G. Jones and Mrs. Charles H. Estes. Prize winners were Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Montague and Mrs. Flynt. Mrs. Jones was guest prize winner.□
