Raye Rector, a 1976 graduate of Rappahannock County High School who is attending Longwood College at Farmville, was initiated into the college chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta Honorary Society on February 27. She was chosen historian of the sorority, a national organization which recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement of freshmen. Raye, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rector of Marshall, is a member of the Longwood Choir and works part-time in the college library. She entered Longwood after being chosen a Longwood Scholar and is majoring in elementary education. □
