Mr. and Mrs. Philip L. Smith hosted a joint birthday party Saturday evening honoring Karl Rinker and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anderson, of Strasburg. Other guests were: Mrs. Karl Rinker, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Stickley, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sickels of Herndon, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ballew, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen White of Strasburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rutherford entertained at Sunday dinner their daughter, Mrs. “Butch” West, and sons, Brian and Aaron, of Front Royal. Afternoon callers were Mrs. Rixie Frye and son, Gene, of Flint Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eubanks.
Charles H. Jenkins returned home Tuesday after a nine-day stay in Warren Memorial Hospital.□
