Wrecked rabbit
Mary Jo Chase of Sperryville totaled a Volkswagen she was driving on Route 211 east of Massies Corner earlySaturday morning. She swerved to avoid an animal in the road, ran oil' the left of the highway and struck the bank. She escaped injury, but the rabbit was dead at the scene, according to Trooper C. A. Moore, who investigated the crash. □
