Chadwell
Shirley Howard Chadwell, Sr. of Front Royal died April 6, 1977. He was born April 26, 1917 at Hume, the son of the late William Leslie Chadwell and of Mrs. Lucille Wilson Chadwell of Marshall who survives him.
Mr. Chadwell was a member of the Five Forks Regular Baptist Church near Woodville and a veteran of World War n. He was employed by Avtex Fibers, Inc. in Front Royal. '
Other survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Frances Hawkins Chadwell; a son Shirley Chadwell, Jr.; three grandchildren; three brothers, Jack and Thomas Chadwell, all of Front Royal and Glenn Elwood Chadwell of Marshall; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Raney of Front Royal.
A funeral service was conducted Saturday by the Rev. Hoover Heflin in the chapel of Maddox Funeral Home. Interment was in Panorama Memorial Gardens atWaterlick. □
