VETERANS ORGANIZE Rappahannock county veterans are alerted to an organizational meeting at Flint Hill fire hall on May 3 at 8 p.m. for the purpose of forming an American Legion Post in Rappahannock. All veterans who served honorably between the following dates are eligible: April 6, 1917—November 11, 1918; December 7, 1941—December 31, 1946; June 25, 1950—January 31, 1955; August 5, 1964—August 15, 1973. IN MEMORIAM In sad but loving memory of our dear sister Mary Alice Timbers, who expired this life 16 years ago April 4, 1961. 16 years have passed since the sorrow of your death that morning.

I will never forget same as I can never forget your kind living life, You were so gentle . Kind and loving and always had a word of encouragement regardless of how great the problem was, The way you lived is the way you died, in Christ, No harm can come upon you now for Jesus has his arms around you. You are in his loving care of rest, It’s beautiful to be in God’s house. Sleep, sleep beautiful sleep dear, We miss you very much, our love for you will always remain the same.
